STATEMENT BY CONGRESSMAN GREGORY MEEKS
 
My staff and I have been understanding and respectful of the role that media plays in delivering information to the public. We have been forthcoming, transparent and have responded to all of the New York Post’s requests in a timely manner. However, the New York Post is not delivering fair, honest or balanced reporting and is only interested in smearing the name of their public official of choice.
 
I will work with any credible news organization on fair and balanced reporting. The New York Post is neither fair nor balanced and therefore will no longer receive the courtesy of my assistance.
